What happens when you combine Steve Buscemi, a special guest, and a park bench? A lot of talking…and a little bit of magic.
That’s the simple premise behind this Emmy Award-winning “talking show” for Aol. Working collaboratively with Buscemi, Killian helped develop the series, which was centered around special guests chatting on a park bench. Using his network, Killian helped book guest stars—including Chris Rock, Julian Schnabel, Elvis Costello, Jeaneane Garafolo, and Debbie Harry—that paired well with Buscemi’s offbeat personality. The resulting digital series presents intimate conversations with some of NYC's most interesting characters. The show won an Emmy for Outstanding Short Form Variety Series.

Executive Producer Joe Killian collaborated closely with Buscemi to book guests – including Chris Rock, Julian Schnabel, Elvis Costello, Jeaneane Garafolo, and Debbie Harry – who would pair well with Buscemi’s unique personality and, most importantly, deliver on the show’s promise: talking. Killian also collaborated with Buscemi to develop storylines for the series, and oversaw all the shoots and post production. The show won an Emmy for Outstanding Short Form Variety Series.
